Orly Airport’s innovation!

Orly airport is considered the second largest airport in France given the huge number of passengers. In 2010, there were 25,203,639 passengers.

It is located fourteen kilometers south of Paris near Orly, it is divided into two terminals: the south and west terminals and has three runways.

The Orly Sud terminal building faces the runways in a bar more than 700 meters long, consisting of a 200-metre main building and two side jetties. It is 70 meters deep. This provision limits the walking distance for travellers to 300 meters.

The Orly West terminal has two separate levels, the first floor used for boarding and the ground floor for arrivals. Then, the distribution in the hall allows the passenger to quickly find his boarding counter.

Paris-Orly airport is close to the A6 motorway and the A86 motorway, which has led to economic activities around the airport and makes it easy to transfer from the airport to other municipalities.
